I do NOT get these things. They have creepy beady eyes an the nature of the product limits opportunity for details and distinction so they all look pretty generic! You might even NEED the box to tell you what it is. Soulless garbage being mass produced for landfills and seemed to outwear their welcome at least 5 years ago…

Plus they’re too breakable. My kids have a few and they break if you knock them off a table

For real? I assumed they were tough from how chunky they were. What trash.

Pretty sure they’re just slightly higher quality 3D printed vinyl figures. Probably cost pennies to make.

My favourite is seeing the ones that end up at Dollarama, last time it was a whole shelf of Marvel’s Eternals and Shazam Fury of the Gods

I’ve seen stores with walls of funko pops on display. I’ve never seen stores with gaps in their walls of funko pops, or evidence that they are moving many. Were their sales ever really that great to justify the amount of inventory they’ve produced?

My own interest has only gotten as far as “Oh hey, I recognize that character. Yep, they’ve got a bunch of Naruto characters, or at least generic funko pops with clothing like those characters wear. I wonder what else this store has.”
