My version of questioning this is if the same source is providing both the file and the hash, does it matter how hard it is to fake the hash? It could just generate a new hash for the fake file, couldn’t it?

They do have such a system. If you click your username on the top of your desktop client (I’m on the Linux client but believe the windows one also works like this), there should be an item “View my wallet”, this will take you to a page where you can add money to it.
Or if it only shows up for me because I have a balance (sold some steam cards), go to Steam -> Settings and there should be an “Add funds” button right below your profile pic in the Account tab.
They only seem to support specific values (mine does 5, 10, 25, 50, 100). Oh and there’s a link to redeem gift card codes; you might already use this page to get there if you use gift cards.

One thing that can help with leaks is to not save your CC info with the account. Then it just gets used for the transaction and isn’t saved outside of the payment system, so less of a vector for it to make it on a leak database. Also helps control spending by adding more inertia between this side and the far side of a purchase.
That’s for functional. If you want to test optimized, can you run Crysis?

On that note, sriracha sauce on ice cream is pretty good. Add some salt for more enhancement.
I haven’t gone too crazy with it, but dropping my ideas of what foods do and don’t go in main courses or desserts has improved both of them for me. Sausage and savory chocolate sauce is great, and apples are a lot like potatoes when cooked in a savory dish, while doing the same sweet/sour/salty/umami balancing for desserts makes them better (note that that doesn’t mean to make them all equal, dessert will still be sweet overall, just if you add representation for all the flavour groups other than bitter, it’ll usually enhance the taste).

Was starting to think I was legumes.*

This technology isn’t for generating images but for measuring what frequencies are present in light.
I’m not 100% sure on the specifics, but it sounds like they are using some mathematical properties of fourier transformations to either broaden the frequency response of sensors or simplify the math required to get the final result.
Hyperspectral cameras are designed to generate images from a matrix of light sensors.
This could maybe lead to spectral cameras (as in a camera where each pixel is the spectrum of light in that pixel), which could then generate images of arbitrary spectra, but I suspect that this sensor is still quite a bit larger than the sensors used in digital cameras these days. Even a hyperspectral camera doesn’t really care about what frequencies it measures, it’s just able to detect differences in amplitude at those frequencies and either doesn’t detect outside of that range or has something filtering the light outside of the range before it reaches the sensors.

Need to destroy the competition so that users don’t have other options and must accept whatever prices we dictate.
Why are you assuming it isn’t consensual?

Once upon a time, humans liked to read articles written by other humans. Since these human writers were capable of doing more than just predicting the next token, they were able to maintain a sense of coherency and continuity through their articles and could write lists that referenced other items, especially when they were closely related, instead of each item just following an intro, brief description, conclusion format that gets quite repetitive. But then text predictors got good enough to predict coherent sentences that are often even accurate and can follow a given theme or topic and websites thought no one would care since it was mostly marketing and propaganda by then anyways and dropped the human writers into active volcanoes.

For me, a big epiphany came through examining my intent while angry and whether the anger was helping or hindering that intent.
There are some cases where it can help, though might still not be the best tactic. It makes you more willing to use more force when doing something physical; but you are capable of that force with more control when not angry. And it can have social effects: intimidation, empathy, increased resistance, and trolling.
Empathy is really the only beneficial one, though it often involves patronization because it reduces you to a child throwing a tantrum, so it’s a bit of a pathetic one.
Intimidation doesn’t convince people, though they may appease you in the moment or even long term, but each time you do that, you’re “cashing in” some of the relationship and possibly putting a target on your back if those you intimidate see any way of eliminating you as a threat.
And obviously increased resistance or trolling are the opposite of what you want to accomplish.
Once you’ve convinced yourself that anger doesn’t help regardless of whether you’re right or right to be angry, then it’s a matter of reminding yourself about this when you feel anger flaring up instead of trying to justify it. Don’t punish yourself about it, it’s ok to feel anger even if unhelpful and getting more upset that you got upset is even more counterproductive.
It’s not easy. You will probably even fail to control your anger sometimes and let your emotional side dictate that this time it’s different or you just don’t care this time. Nothing you can really do other than reflect honestly on it later, once the anger has passed.
You can also pause to examine your feelings in the moment of anger. What are you feeling right then? Why? Where do you want things to go from there? How could you get there? Is it really that important? Could you be the wrong one? Could it be a big miscommunication and you’re actually arguing about two different things? Why is it so upsetting that someone feels differently from you? Why do you feel like it’s your job to correct this?
Though one form of anger we should hold on to is indignant rage at living in a system designed to fuck us from multiple angles all at once.
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that as a puzzle before.
Actually looks like a pretty good (difficult) puzzle, what with how prevalent the blue is. I just did one that has a similar amount of dark purple and it was a nice challenge (paired with a rule against examining pieces and the picture at the same time, as doing that trivialized the puzzle I did before that one).

Regarding the achievements, there are many that only unlock if you are playing a certain difficulty or ruleset. It’s not difficult to disable achievements while cheat codes are active. Plus people who are cheating with achievements (or high scores) often just fake it entirely and just send steam a fake score or achievement unlock, or use 3rd party tools/mods to do the cheating so the game can’t even filter cheating vs legit achievements.
And this reminded me of a parallel to cheats offered by paradox games: custom rules. With CKII, you can create custom rulers without any limits. It’ll say “don’t go above this score if you want achievements, otherwise do what you want”. You can even replace every single ruler in the game with basically mortal gods before you start and switch between them at will if you don’t care about achievements, or replace everyone else with sickly imbeciles and dominate them all until they start dying off and getting replaced with normal characters.
And mods are another direction customization and replayability were taken vs using cheat codes.

Yeah, personally, I’ve noticed that I notice and appreciate very high quality streams when they are there but don’t notice lower quality ones in a bad way (where “lower quality” is still like 1080p, 720p is more noticeable).
Like 4k looks great but 1080p still looks normal.

So shave your face with some mace in the dark

That is what rich people are talking about when they refer to cuff links. They are fancy jewelry that keeps your sleeves closed after you cut a slot in them to fit your beefy hands through but don’t use elastics or wizard sleeves.

Just be prepared for a noticeable quality drop when going into the Netflix seasons. I suggest even taking a break between them, as I personally didn’t mind the netflix seasons so much until I did another watch through and tried to watch the netflix ones right after the original seasons.
Though the whole “written for people who aren’t really paying attention” also got obvious enough that the constant recaps of shit that just happened got annoying enough I aborted the rewatch. That said, the netflix seasons do still have some good bits.

Though do you count that even though one of the characters is obsessed with his romantic entanglement outside of the group, to the point that I’d consider Mary a part of the group with how much she’s there. Iirc each of the other characters pairs up with someone, too.
Seems like a pretty risky lie as the car should have logs saying exactly what happened (at least to the level of detail of cruise control + accelerator vs self-driving).
