Is it me or are people just not that bothered about aliens, compared to in the 90s?

I think a big part of it is that people realized that aliens somehow only visit the united States. And then mainly the redneck states. Then people got curious again when, again, american pilots saw a bunch of aliens and they released the footage and it was… Mate, that’s a bit of dust or a bird, that is just close to the camera, therefore it appears to move really fast. Glad they got the best of the best on it. Also the whole Bob Lazar shit. Which again, believe it or not, american well known bullshitter telling wild stories with no proof at all

What’s there to be excited about? There’s no reason to believe aliens ever visited earth. Exist somewhere in the universe, sure. I’m very excited for any news from observations in space or the mars rover finding signs of life, but not on earth.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and so far, all we’ve had are som shitty low resolution videos which very well might have been either video artifacts, atmospheric natural phenomena, or just experimental weapons.

        Possibly ay.

I think most of us accept we aren’t alone, are satisfied with that and don’t really want to delve any further into it.

Your generation were told they are not there and you believed it. Thats about it.

The sightings stopped happening round about exactly the same time as everyone started carrying a video camera in their pocket.

That’s because we all started carrying around cameras, but didn’t get a bunch of credible alien videos.

If this was the 90’s, then everyone would’ve believed the government stories about Alex Pretti and Rene Good.

People became oversaturated with alien stuff. It became unfashionable to believe in aliens and the millionth “aliens invade” movie isn’t interesting.
