As a Californian, it’s not just the DoE, especially on a scale of decades. My girlfriend went to public school in Texas and had shit like iPads and a lunch cafeteria with actual restaurants. I went to public school in California, mostly (entirely?) after it was gutted by the Governator, and had shit like textbooks shared across classes with swastikas and 8=D drawn all over the pages and a lunch cafeteria that served frozen pizzas microwaved in the plastic and frozen milk that still had ice-chunks in it.

I think it sounds wrong because the letter “U” is pronounced “yew”, and y is not a vowel. You would never say ‘an yurt’ or ‘an yogurt’. If it was prounced “oo”, then “an oo F O” would sound correct.
But as it is, it just sounds wrong. And whether technically correct or not, I reject it!

If they released the full, unredacted files they’d be distributing CSAM and victim names, though. Some redacting is necessary.
I’d agree but they already did that. They seemed to have spent far more care and attention protecting the rapists than the rapees.
Them already releasing CSAM is a bad justification to release more CSAM.
While the victims need to be protected, that’s not what Trump and the DOJ did. Rather than out the perpetrators and protect the victims, they outed the victims and are protecting the perpetrators. All because the people protecting the perpetrators, the perpetrators, and the officials in charge of this are all the same people. So yeah they already crossed that bridge backwards without shoes.
So the solution to that is to release all of the CSAM?
