Here’s something I drew last week.

I never got around to really properly starting a game project I was making 9 years ago (gee, time flies) called The Great Adventure. In it you’d explore a tropical island! In the quit screen there was a message “the turtles bid you goodbye!”

Now the game was just a text-based thing written in Turbo Pascal for DOS, but this illustration here is what I had in mind.

Someone once told me “if you want to be good at art, try drawing things upside down”.

Here is an upside down apple that I flipped 180…

I’m terrible at drawing, so I in fact cannot.

But I’ll take this as an opportunity to experiment.
