Oh nice I’ll look into that! I have a rooted phone so I’m sure I could get it installed haha
I do, but boy am I looking for a better keyboard, gboard has really gone downhill, I mean it was never great but it’s just straight up putting completely wrong totally unrelated words in place of REAL FUCKING WORDS. I miss pre-microsoft swiftkey, they had the best text prediction I’ve ever used. I remember in college my friend and I had a convo about how it was so good that he would have a full text to his dad perfectly predicted and he felt bad because he basically let a robot do the thinking for him lol. Now it’s been gutted by microsoft, and the text correction is just as janky as gboard.
Yes, I was in a friend’s pool yesterday, so obviously without my phone, and I felt a vibration that felt exactly like Snapchat. I just chalk it up to muscle twitches.
Locked for rule 5
Yeah, it’s Jeremy Berimy obviously
Some tasteful rgb isn’t bad but it has to be executed really well
I don’t know what it has, I’ve never used it, I just know it exists, I assumed you meant music player
Idk man there’s a music player
I use sonarr and radarr, they automatically structure the folder system, and you can also have the same issues with Plex. I had an issue where Plex would not, no matter what, detect the newest episode of a show and Jellyfin picked it up no problem
There’s plugins that can replace Plexamp
Jellyfin is a lot better than it used to be, to get feature parity with Plex you will probably need to install some plugins but I literally searched “best Jellyfin plugins reddit” and the list in the first thread I found was all I needed. The webOS, Android, and Roku apps are very good, I’m not sure what the situation is on Apple TV but I think they have an app
Host Jellyfin either by running their easy setup script or by hosting it on docker, in order for it to be publicly accessible you will need to either port forward and give people your external IP or you need to have your own website. It’s very easy with a docker container to get it running locally, you literally just spin it up, the same as Plex.
Really didn’t like him when he was younger, he was a naive swedish kid that didn’t realize that the dumb shit he said online had ramifications because his audience was so big. He helped platform Ben Shapiro to a younger generation when he had him on his channel for a video, he had that scandal where he said the n word, and then of course the clip where he says the glass ceiling doesn’t exist. It’s clear to me he didn’t realize the cultural and political ramifications of that stuff in America because he was never really exposed to it growing up in Sweden, and he was a cocky 20 something that thought he knew everything.
I hope these days he’s realizing how idiotic some of that shit was and is actually trying to use his platform to make his viewers aware of valid issues rather than spouting off about topics he knows nothing about to his viewers who take his word as truth.
Ah, there’s a special installer on the lutris site that should install all that, did you use that?
I said DOS had GUIs, not that it was one
I did not realize Gaben worked for Microsoft. So he knows wtf he’s doing with the steam deck. I think he is 100% trying to recreate that OS migration of the 90s
The steamdeck a handheld gaming PC comes with Linux, and several handheld gaming PC’s are beginning to follow suit, some PC manufacturers already offer Linux as an option. Even so, most gamers, which is who I was talking about, build their own PC’s and pick their own OS’s to begin with.
+1 on Razer mice, I use the Razer naga pro and I love it, I HATE their software and open it as little as possible, but their mouse quality is pretty good for gaming.
I used to used Logitech, which has much better software in Windows and actually has 3rd party software that lets you customize buttons in Linux, but their switches on their mice go out so quickly. There is a know flaw with their switches and they don’t fix it. IMO Logitech has lowered their quality quite a bit and stell kept their prices the same. The last mouse I got from them basically deteriorated in half the time of having the mouse before, and the only reason I replaced the other mouse was because the switches in it died.
I specifically got the Razer Naga pro because it’s got optical switches that don’t wear out in the same way.
