    If people were politically shitposting that’d be one thing, but “look at the bad thing that happened today in the US!” is not a shitpost. A link to news article is not a shitpost. Whining about people not wanting news in a shitposting community is kind of a shit post.

      Many of you can’t seem to handle it cause its not what you “want”. Hence my post about it hurting you. Cause that’s how you all are acting. And that means someone’s to blame and its never yourselves (which it probably is because a lot of you non political types are the reason for this shit and can’t stand the reminders)

    Look, if you want some place to post politics, there are countless spaces on lemmy for it.

    If you want some place to post nearly anything, 4chan’s /b/ could use some more content than endless “share images from social media you wank to” threads. They’d also be far more receptive to your shitty attitude too. But considering you couldn’t figure out how to post this without downloading an app, you might just be too stupid to figure it out.

      Not liking it is one thing, demanding I don’t do it because it “harms them” and acting like thats my problem is another thing entirely

      Just feeding their own shit back to them, with the added bonus of being in the right and watching it occur to them in real time or watching how they avoid reading comments all together so they won’t know it is kinda interesting and also fucking dumb (spirit of the shitpost)

    It is particularly difficult to filter politics based on images but when pieces of shit like you show up it helps to know who to block.
