This is the result of accidentally cating an image in TTY: Fixable with a reboot. Shouldn’t cause issues with any normal text editor, but because it shouldn’t doesn’t mean it necessarily won’t.

Eeh, they’ve got a point though. This is the result of accidentally cating an image in TTY:
