I’m trying to plan my life, but I feel like I’m putting together a thousand-piece puzzle with no picture on the box

And worse, if you’re not typical, you could develop nasty stuff like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexithymia like me. And now with close to 50 I have to work on the consequences.
