Don’t regret past lovers, accept that lots of things in life are temporary, and that’s okay.

We were roommates. And then just kept being roommates. Even became good friends.

This is so sad to me. My spouse is still here. Even with the people that aren’t still here, I enjoyed talking to them until 3 am and had fun. I hope they did too.

Those were the best moments. Even without romantic intentions, those times at the end of the night when all the chaos has died down and you’re just closely connecting with your friends. It’s really the best.

Asked me to marry him. Bought a house together. Been 20 years and still 3am chatting (admittedly because rn he’s in spain and i’m still in AU and it’s mostly pictures of our cats and him in front of various buildings but still…)
