I wonder if classification has made the mass shooting numbers look different. In the 90s I remember everyone just blamed gangs. Shoot out in a parking lot, “they were probably in a gang.”. But soon as you list gun violence under gang related, it no longer falls under mass shooting according to the FBI and such. So even if 6 people get killed, that incident wouldn’t show up.

Today I rarely see people lumping acts into something like that.

Literally today when Kirk was gently relieved from the laborious task of breathing air meant for people better than him, when someone asked “how many mass shootings have there been in the last ten years”, his response was “excluding gang violence?”

I blame the Bible for mass shootings, and I guarantee that there is more evidence to support my claim than his.

    Ban the bible!

This explains all the visas they’re denying and the people they’re deporting. There was a typo… And everyone knows Christie Noem has trouble with the English language on a good day.

Yes, it’s mostly a US-only issue but you know that other countries, Australia, looking at you, that love to be ban happy with any flimsy justification.

120 guns per American (ie per capita) vs 26 guns per Swiss??

      According to TFA:

Roughly 3-in-10 citizens in both Switzerland and the United States own guns

So the number of owners is similar, which is probably more meaningful than the absolute number of guns.

Not unless these guns are stolen which they often do. Could also signify a difference in culture or how guns are treated. If I have 10 guns, I might as well have one on me, one in my car, and one for my dog.

But I agree it might be comparable
