I would feel the same way. Fixating on one thing would become boring after a while. That’s why I am also somewhat surprised that this isn’t a hypothetical question at all for so many people. It’s more common with tabletop RPGs, because of the financial and time investment required to learn a new system, but then again, a TTRPG arguably has more variety than any video game ever could. It just seems a bit wild to me to pay so much money for a console and only use it for one game/franchise.
