I think most people don’t subscribe to NSFW subreddits, they just go there when they want the content.

No, people won’t sub to a NSFW… on their main. Every once in awhile you get people who don’t give a shit and post NSFW stuff using their main. Some people even have different accounts for different hobbies or topics.
I just have a separate account. Although I may require an alternate approach because that account is logged into a 3rd party browser.
