Edit: Red text on a background of green squares of various shades. It reads, “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”
Really? I appreciate your support, but that was the worst thing I could come up with quickly. I say that as someone who uses dark mode across the board, including solid black backgrounds and wallpapers. Should I have used dark brown text on a light blue background?
Light level is the problem I have. I don’t need every single sub pixel outputting all of its light on every inch of the screen all the time. A flat black background with contrasting letters is ideal to me. I’m okay with sacrificing readability of the text for ease on the eyes.
I think I once made a comment that implies I’m Yueh, but I prefer to think of myself as the personification of the tooth as if it were a character in the novel.

Fuck yeah!
Btw the other way you can do it (which will only be noticeable to users with screen readers) is to put the alt text between the square brackets.
Unironically better than black text on white

I hear that. I also like that it saves power in devices with OLED displays.
But are you Leto or Yueh?

Hopefully less of an empty gesture! 😅
