The Epstein files were sealed under court order for the duration of the Biden admin, because they were evidence in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial and her subsequent appeals. Merrick Garland couldn’t touch them.
Maxwell was indicted on July 20th, 2020, with 5 months left in Trump I. The Epstein files were not released until November 2025 (some, with more in December) 10 months into Trump II, and Congress had to pass a fucking law to get Trump & Co. to do what he campaigned on doing for that to even happen.
