True, but I liked how they referenced Glup in the early Yuu’zhan Vong books by the asking about how he basically was the only reason Tattooine survived the Desolation! Nice nod to previous characters
The Yuu’zhan Vong books were fucking great in comparison. They finally gave us some closure on how Swargo and Yuu’zhan made that black vase in Luke’s home on Tattoine (present in the background when Obi-Wan gives Anakin’s lightsaber to Luke). We’d have to wait three years for the Morp Pumboô quadrilogy of comics to see how the materials got stolen to make it in the first place, but it was worth it.
The Glup Shiddo cameo in the second book was squandered potential.
