It was not only my introduction to Metallica, it was literally the first album to get me into non-country music (it’d kinda become my identity as a kid) and the first non-country album I HAD TO BUY (and the first CD purchase that worried my parents). I’ll never forget waking up to my cousin playing that song and thinking, “WHAT. IS. THAT. AMAZING. SOUND!?”
Oooh, same. That version of No Leaf Clover is waaaaay up there for me. That and The Memory Remains.
