as a person, I wouldn’t know any other way. I would find something to live for. wouldn’t be easy.

as a parent, I would listen to their wish and try to help them make it as painless as possible if that’s what they wanted.

not to be confused with the pain of life, it’s my job as a parent to shield my children from the pain of death as best as I can. even if it costs me my own life.
