- I can’t even imagine a bug with 30!! legs, that would be an absolutely absurd number. - 4.285 × 10^16 legs would just look silly. - Tangetially related: For the people who don’t know, I found out recently that x!! isn’t the same as (x!)! (repeated factorial), in fact, !! is a LOT less big than repeated factorial. - For example, while 30!! is 4.286 x 10^16 (so a number with 17 digits), doing 30! and then ! the result of that, would be a number with an unfathomable 10^33 digits. - n!! is its own operator called the “double factorial” and is even smaller than the regular !, because it’s the product of only the odd numbers up to n. - Edit: escape characters - Til. What’s 10!!! ? - x!_(n) is the product of the positive numbers congruent to x (mod n) and less than or equal to x. put more simply x*(x-n)*(x-2n)… - so 10!!! = 10*7*4*1 - Til. Then what’s 10. ? - !10

- No clue. Wolfram Alpha interprets it as (10!!)!, so I assume !!! isn’t an established operator, unlike the very unintuitive !!. - Above dude says it’s 1074*1.

- Biblically accurate millipede
- I think 30 should look better than 15.
Like 7 legs on each side and one in the back as mechanical afterburner?- The other guy was making a maths joke - “30!!” Is 30 double factorial and therefore that very large number - Ah, fuck…got wooshed

- I’m sure they’d love to have a spare. Accidents happen, you know?
- I assume it’s like my third leg, which I mostly just let drag. Occasionally, I’ll throw it over my shoulder like a continental soldier.

- I love this

- An even number of legs? On a member of the Bilateria clade?
- Centipood heehee
