    Quite possibly the greatest vehicle of all time. The only one even close in the running is the Saturn V rocket.

    I’ve seen the AWD version of this get pretty heavily modified for drag racing. It’s pretty sweet to see a mini van take down sports cars!

    I can’t escape this fuckin van.

    I finally convinced my mom to buy a new car after having her astro for 23 years.

    Since then I have seen them everywhere. They are following me, I swear.

      My father had one and I swear to you it outlasted it’s lifetime. My father beat the living shit out of it. Never changed the tires, several accidents, 0 maintenance. Built like a tank.

        My dad had a shitbox Astro too, thing would not die and he wouldn’t get rid of something that still worked. Used to ride around in it on country roads in upstate NY with the side door wide open, stoned to the bone. It felt illegal and dangerous, but cool - literally and figuratively. If you’ve never ridden around in a van with the sliding door open, out in the country, preferably baked out of your gourd, I recommend it.

        I hated everything about that van. Do maintenance? Open that little hub inside. Wanna check something? Open the hub inside. The hood was useless.
