When a mod deletes a post on reddit, it just disappears from view. On Lemmy, is that the case, or is it actually deleted?

I have already. It appears the post is simply deleted and non-recoverable.
Hmm. Perhaps the post was lost during the site upgrades? I know the admin said some stuff like that could happen briefly
