The Republican party specifically and career politicians in general have made it perfectly clear that they have been perverting and subverting every aspect of our governmental and legal systems to the point that the only option available to make positive change will be mass demonstration. I am a construction worker in Texas. You are mistaken. I do agree that some light is starting to show through the cracks for people inclined to question what they have been told. There are plenty that are enthused about the actions being taken while simultaneously bitching about the state of the economy. Then they get mad and turtle up the moment you challenge their world view. I’m so tired of trying to rationalize people out of a position they didn’t rationalize themself into.

I think you’re overestimating the degree to which the majority of users are willing to inconvenience themselves over a browser. If Microsoft announced tomorrow that Windows no longer supported any browser other than edge you wouldn’t see a mass migration to Linux. Instead you would see a healthy uptick in complaints about edge.

I loved the hero evolution maps where you would spawn in as a ghost with a fucking zoo of different heroes available to choose from. Then you would spawn in the world and have a heroic adventure not unlike a very early attempt at WOW. That game got so much mileage off custom maps.
