Totally understandable, it’s been really nice to see communities grow in engagement. Just something else I love about the site! Looking forward to it 😊

Thank you! I clicked the link and saw [email protected] under the title and was able to search and find it that way ☺️
Wooooh! Happy to see ☺️ too bad I can’t find it from searching in kbin.
New video games and books lol. Also, my husband and close family members–I like seeing people I love happy and look forward to the time I have with them since life is short.
This is the current state of my job. Morale is very low and leadership is only just now attempting to figure out why since people have begun to leave. Feedback has been constantly shared and yet they have done nothing to address the issues. Namely communication issues from leadership to staff.
My elementary school closed down a few years back. They had a small reunion with any students that attended before they closed for good. It was a definite blast from the past as there were a few teachers that still worked there and many of my old classmates attended. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive the news until after they already shut down but I was able to see pictures on Facebook.
One of my favorite cozy reads is howls moving castle by Dianne Wynne Jones and that series as a whole. If you’ve seen the movie, the book has enough differences that it’s completely worth a read.
Ahhh that sounds so nice ☺️ I’m a homebody so I recharge best at home, on my couch and the AC high so I can bundle under blankets while reading a book!
Thanks to you and the others for explaining! This makes sense. Hope it becomes more common soon!
Whole site is going off the deep end. The ship is sinking folks. Glad I’m here.
Sending a warm welcome! I relate—I honestly JUST started to comment here and there on Reddit within this past year. I join kbin and within a week I’ve commented more here then the 8 years I lurked on reddit. It’s just a better overall vibe here.
Only at upscale restaurants? Interesting.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Playing smash bros and mario kart on the game cube with my two brothers.
Also haven’t been back on Reddit and don’t plan on going back. It’s hard, I’m used to being on Reddit multiple times a day and have to fight the muscle memory to click on the app. But I’m realizing I’m really not missing out on anything by not being there. I’d rather stick with this community as we continue to grow. I don’t even use third party apps—it’s just the principle. Just doesn’t feel right to go back, feels scummy to support the site knowing that it’s owner doesn’t give af about its users.
You seem like you’re already doing everything you can to treat your symptoms. As Kolanaki said, there is no cure for the common cold. I’d continue getting as much rest as you can before your vacation. My colds usually take atleast 7-10 days to fully go away and that’s with proper rest. Sometimes I’ve gotten lucky and only had symptoms for a few days. If you have a sore throat, throat coat tea helps as well.
