Cool, where’s the next frame where the grey monkey does start swinging at their captors and the brown monkey stabs him in the back because the captors promised a banana?

Is it “both sides are the same” Saturday already?! Boy how time flies when the right is in full control again, destroying everything again, after the left rebuilt it the best they could in their limited time in control again… but it’s the same coin so you should just stay home and not vote, right op?!

      It depends on your side:

if you vote for the right, then you are likely to win with both sides, so you don’t really need to vote.

if you are for the left, you absolutely need to vote for the left AND to do not let them in peace once elected, because without being pushed and forced to do a left politic, they are likely to do a right one.

      What?

More like we’re too busy fighting each other to realize who is largely perpetuating these fights and who directly benefits from a distracted populace.

I’m legitimately surprised I had to spell this out.

Are you confusing liberals with left wingers?

The left have been very loudly pushing back against the billionaire class for a very long time

This meme must be targeted at USians, where the Democrats, the left wing of liberal capitalism, are referred to as “the Left” as part of liberal capitalists’ war against anarchism, Marxism, and other class-conscious perspectives. Because elsewhere in the world, the Left (where they exist) are generally the ones who are fighting the people distracting and dividing us (the capitalists). (Not trying to be contentious, just trying to understand where you’re coming from.)

I think what OP is trying to say is it’s not left vs right, it’s poor vs rich. That the billionaires use issues of policy as a distraction from the inequality and wealth gap between us and them.

Except liberals aren’t “the left”. Liberals are center or center-left at best. Liberals are funded by the same entities as the right is, yes, but this distinction is important, lol

Which country’s Liberal Party are you talking about? Because that’s definitely not what the word liberal on its own means.

        Whats your opinion on NATO?

Liberalism is the advocacy for human rights and freedoms so long as they don’t impede upon the rights and freedoms of others. In practice it requires a democratic state to enforce equal treatment and freedoms. Examples such as making slavery and segregation illegal, taxing inheritance and estates, mandating equal housing and employment opportunity, or covering the expenses of impoverished citizen’s medical and education.

It’s had the similar definition of “promotes freedom” for thousands of years and in early 20th century France the words liberalism and neoliberalism were commonly used to describe a system of fair and regulated markets distinctly distant from laissez-faire and socialism.

The most common opponents to Liberalism and Liberals are Tankies, who support eastern bloc dictatorships, and Conservatives, who support western bloc dictatorships. Because of this I automatically assume people who use liberal or neoliberal as a slur are opponents of human rights.

I’m not talking about any country’s liberal party. I’m talking about neoliberals. In the U.S., they are often misidentified as being “the left”.

And regarding NATO, I am against it as a specific entity, but I think that some of its functions are important and should not be lost if it is ever dismantled.

What’s fun is this is actually like a Broligarchy plan to get rid of political parties.

First they, “The Grays” help The Reds get rid of The Blues. Then they get rid of the Reds. Yarvin and Theil are all about it.

Any party not promising to implement direct real time democracy is just a schill in the end. Any party elected for x years can and will do whatever is in their best interest and not the peoples.
