When religious people talk like this I wonder if they really believe it or are just milking their religion for all it is worth. Neither one of those is good.
They really believe it.
Religion is what allows imperialists to brainwash their subjects into supporting evil. It allows the demonization of out-groups and the justification for a holy war, where soldiers willfully go forth to murder and die for their deity.
The real goal is acquisition of land and resources for the ruling class. That’s the way it’s always been. Abrahamic religion is just fascism with the blame deflected to a capricious old man in the sky.
The believe of someone is respectable, but believes are always personal and untransferable. This make religions absurd and dangerous, used through all the history as manipulation tool of an elite to make people ignorant, submissive and obedient (and hypocrits).
I’m convinced that the religious are in a constant state of cognitive dissonance and they behave like this as a coping mechanism. Anyone who believes in their religion this strongly needs an extreme mental health intervention.
