    I was told I should buy this. As someone who has only played the first Assassin’s Creed I am wondering if I should buy this new resynced version or the old one for less than half the price?

      Don’t give ubisoft money. This remake is a full price game with $85 worth of extra dlc. It also has denuvo. Should be $40-50 max with no microtransactions for a single player remake.

      If you are talking about buying the game, I would not recommend the old one.

      Ubisoft have the habit of de-listing old games a sun-setting old game servers.

      Even if the game is single player, in the future you won´t be able to play if they validate your installation (DRM). If you are OK with leasing the game, sure, go ahead.

    Rarely do I feel compelled to ‘acquire’ something for the pure signifier value of having done so.

    But this one… oh the spite is quite real.
