You and your community didn’t build the damn parks for tax deductions - at least, at no point in your story do you mention you and others got a tax deduction from it. None of you paid someone to do it to then get a tax deduction. You said it was built literally by yourselves. Either way, this isn’t really about the damn dang parks anymore. Do you just skim over the other example I mentioned multiple times? Maybe need new reading glasses?
