I originally marked it because there was just too much raw pure Linux power exuded from the video.

I forgot for a moment Epilepsy existed in my daze.

I added the written epilepsy warning after 😅

It would be better if you put the warning in the title. Voyager (a popular Lemmy client) doesn’t show the post text until after you open the post if it contains media, at which point the video is already uncovered and playing

I use Voyager. I have NSFW posts set to blur. I need to open the thread to see it un-blurred.

I do this so I don’t have random NSFW images popping up on my phone while I’m being antisocial out in public. Yes, I could have the app just block all NSFW posts. But then I would miss beautiful works of art like OP’s post.

I will never understand why the vast majority of those mostly awesome effects were dumped and never added to KDE.

I LOVE the 3D desktop cube and actually used it as a tool and as a bling to show off. After some 5 years without, KDE finally brought the cube back but now only under some weird ass key combo and only as useless bling.

KDE, bring back the eye candy and make it useful eye candy, please!

I was looking into installing compiz on new arch install but it doesn’t support wayland yet. Really wanted to see what they’ve been up to over the years. Miss the super over the top bling. Might be able to convince my niece and nephew to try linux out if they saw how fun it can be.

KDE offers much of the same functionality still, without the rizz. Still has wobbly windows which I use still in kde. The cube lacks the beauty that compiz has with the popped out windows and all. Never felt as spanky either so i tend not to set it up.

Plot twist: that is the neighbor’s apartment, and this video is cut off just after installing Mint, and just before he enters the apartment
