    We didn’t see asses on TV. We still don’t see them on broadcast. It’s more common on cable.

    Yeah it was soooooo shocking. It got a lot of press and I always kinda chuckled about it.

    The wild part is movies and TV shows are much tamer now. The US is full of prudes.

    Even today, on broadcast TV you won’t see swearing or nudity because of prudish views. Cable is a little more lax, and “extra-cable” or streaming like HBO or Cinemax were even more lax.

    The more you had to seek it out the less likely anyone was going to clutch their pearls over something.
