The problem here is that, even for entry level positions in Donald’s administration, one had to affirmatively concede that conspiracy theories are real. They were asking 20-something kids wanting to paper push if they believed the 2020 election was stolen. Then they allowed DOGE to purge all of the people who believe in traditional, functional government after that. This isn’t 2016 where Donald surrounded himself with grownups.
I don’t know that there’s anyone left willing to go out on a limb and pull a Chelsea Manning or an Edward Snowden, and that’s who you need if you ever want the unredacted files out in the world.
Hopefully someday someone proves me wrong, but I can only assume that this is an Eyes Wide Shut situation where the names in those files are so terrifying that it’s inconceivable for anyone to ever release them in full.
