All their claims about concern for human rights are exposed as lies by their support for the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Palestine. It is hegemony and they can’t accept a government that is not subservient to their ambitions in the region.
And a regime that gives gay people the death sentence and murders protestors ist any better? Iran needs a government that doesn’t suck up to the US but also treats it’s citizens well. It isn’t black and white where you either defend the current regime or support a US controlled one. You can have neither.

Good thing Putin didn’t sign a peace agreement with Ukraine. Now with Trump’s planned invasion of Iran, a future US administration will be able to install missiles near the Caspian to threaten Russia, even if NATO fails badly in Ukraine. At the very least the US will control the air space and fly through it, with Iran defeated. Let’s hope that Trump has to pay a price for this course of action.
