Hilariously this is actually anti-disability. Many people have mobility issues without needing a wheelchair all the time, and really benefit from having places to sit. Removing a seat removes that option.
As a person without a physical disability who is not homeless I also appreciate somewhere where I could lie down to have a rest sometimes. I honestly think this kind of thing is to the detriment of every single citizen.
