Somehow everything the Democrats promise takes until very close to the cycle after they’re elected until they even talk about it. Then, of course, they need your votes again so they can do the thing they promised the first time. Then (Insert Needed # of Dems here) will have some problem with it so it falls through and Dems lose the next cycle because of some reason that is the voters’ fault.
dems(*DNC) dont want to lose thier only single issue voter cards: healthcare,etc. which is why they always try to use it as a carrot, and drops it or half-ass it when they get elected.
Maybe if voters weren’t so goddamn fickle, they wouldn’t feel the need to do shit like that. If they didn’t do that, they’d just never get elected period.
Or they could pass the things they promised when they have the chance like everyone wants and improve people’s lives buying themselves tons of goodwill with the voters in the future.
