Is being against a kidnapping tankie? I’m a communist and people have called me tankie from time to time, but I still don’t know what it means and it seems to change definition everytime I ask.
Tankie means authoritarian communist, although states that tankies support nowadays are nowhere near communism, but definitely are authoritarian.
News flash - just because you’re you don’t like the US doesn’t mean you have to love the governments of Cuba, Russia, Venezuela etc.
That is not news to me. But I am probably more lenient towards Cuba and Venezuela than most. Russia is just as bad as the USA these days. And Russia hunts socialists just as ferverently as the USA.
