Do you realize how many millions upon millions upon millions of dollars these companies take in and yet the minute you have to make a claim they fight tooth and nail for every single dollar to keep it in their pocket. I agree in that claims should not be a part of an insurance company due to the obvious conflict of interest. Without insurance though many families would be devastated into poverty or homelessness without it. It sucks but protects people from catastrophic loss. If it were run properly it would be cheaper but alas…greed.
