Well yeah, most subs I usually look at are closing indefinitely. And the ones that don’t… let’s say I don’t really feel like looking at these. Most of the time I look over there is to see if closed are still closed, the open changed their mind and the ones that did the c/[email protected] trick. In a sense moving to Mastodon was easier because no one owns a tag, meanwhile here can be multiple communities with the same name and different moderation, someone has to agree to moderate for it to exist and if I wanted to move to a different instance I can’t bring the community along as far as I know.
