What you can’t have is the reliable information, people will tell you everything they think you want to hear so you wouldn’t worsen their wellbeing. And you can’t know at all, did they tell you the truth, or what they think you want them to say. You might as well ask an LLM for information. The only difference is, LLM is not an entity and can’t feel pain, and that’s probably the main purpose of torture.
