I thought it was interesting how this little factoid was kept hidden from us. Lots of people like to complain about high cholesterol, but I bet most of them don’t realize that it’s only coming from the animals they’re choosing to eat.

      I don’t think there are any. Plants have phytosterols which are structurally similar.

      Anyway, doesn’t matter much. The cholesterol you eat isn’t what ends up in your arteries. You should still limit how much you eat because high cholesterol foods are often high in saturated fat. There’s a happy medium but too much puts you in greater risk of heart disease.

        Demonizing dietary cholesterol went out of style in the 1990s.

        Trying to recycle the warning is lame because then people fall into eating high carb diets which aren’t great either.
