Rodney Anonymous being one of them. Well I guess he’s not necessarily indy? Though he’s definitely not mainstream. Outside of Punk Rock Girl I’m not sure how much else of their catalog got play… But they are legends up in Philadelphia. Which is where he DJs once a month for ynot radio.

The fediverse provides a platform individuals can completely control if they want. Or at least be free of a lot of unsavory restrictions and associations. And for a punk group like Rodney’s, that is even more important.
