- Because they stopped making them and you couldn’t find them and skinny jeans were the in-thing. - I fucking hated it. I suddenly had to change my style whether I liked it or not. - Idk my husband never changed, Levi’s always had these - Same. 527 is my current choice. I’m wearing a pair right now. - Gonna turn your 501s into 499s
- Levi’s 569 are my jam - Those look awesome, thanks for the tip. - My all time fav are 503, but they have not been in production since the 2000’s. I held on to my limited collection of them until they were all in a state of disrepair. I’m still hoping for a revival of the model.

- Wrangler relaxed fit boot cut - This is the answer, right here.

- I have several pants like this, they’re still common second-hand.
- Man, you really didn’t look very hard.

- Probably after we got tired of walking around with soaking ankles - And absolutely shredded cuffs.

- Because they stopped making them! - They sucked though, the leg ends would always end up getting wet, muddy, and/or torn off - I really liked this cut, and would like them to come back. I used safety pins to keep the ends off the ground. - So you hemmed them to a more typical pant leg length? - No, just the back, so I didn’t step on them.

- When the ends of our jeans looked all freyed and hemmed - Dusty, too. Washed jeans went from white to blue, unwashed from blue to brown.
- Remember when you used to get your shoe stuck in the ribbon of fabric that would detach in a loop from the bottom of a leg. For some reason it was always only one leg.

- This isn’t what jeans look like anymore? Help me out - I just saw a high schooler wearing black ones when grabbing something to eat at the store. - So what? We’ve had black jeans in this world for a long time. It’s not a new thing seeing people wear them - Meme: - why did boys stop wearing jeans like this?? - My answer: - I just saw a high schooler wearing black ones when grabbing something to eat at the store. - (I.E. They are still wearing them, and in different colors) - Oh I see. I took OPs message as the style of jeans I.e. washed blue jeans that have baggy long legs. - Seems like most kids still wear jeans today but the style is way different. From what I have seen they like skin tight jeans, washed or unwashed. To me that would be widely uncomfortable but to each their own I guess. - Baggier pants seem to be coming back in style. Skin-tight was more of a millennial preference
- It might be by locale. I live a couple blocks from a high school and I’m seeing the opposite. Kids are wearing baggier and baggier jeans, some even near JNCO style. - Yep, skinny is for old folks now. Kids are dressing like it’s the late 90s.

- Whet pants - What pants? - You wear pants?

- I wore a pair of jeans like that yesterday…
- I see nothing unique about this pair of jeans.
- They’ve started wearing them again
- The last time I bought jeans they still looked like this. Granted it was 2003, but still.
- Who said I don’t? - My leg length is right though…
- Looks a lot like my wardrobe, even the Chucks. Can’t quite find a cut like that anymore, but I love that wash. And, honestly, I like it when they get tattered by the heel. - Try looking for a boot cut. It’s similar, kind of baggy and the cuff is oversized to fit over boots (hence the name)

- What up skaterboi?
- I got tired of the torn up cuffs and jean cuffs are uncomfortable to walk on when you don’t have shoes on.
