No they cannot. Only interactions within .world work, as they are interacting with a cached copy of beehaw communities. They can post and comment, but ONLY amongst themselves. Their posts and comments are not going out to, or being seen by, other isntances, as their distribution would have to be going out to other instances, VIA beehaw.
Check again, all those new interactions, are only coming from users inside .world.
