I’m so sick of “warnings” and “caution”. This is actually illegal. The regime is actively dismantling the government. What do these officials expect us to take away from their irresponsibly vague warnings? What is it they expect us to do? Civil unrest is the only option I see left on the table, but it’s their job to make sure it doesn’t come to that.

These days nothing is illegal and nothing is a fact until that specific case has been adjudicated in a court of law.

Even lawmakers and judges are loathe to call anything illegal. They apparently don’t fucking know until a jury tells them. Unless you don’t have money and they know you’ll be railroaded by the system. Then that shit is illegal.

OMFG you don’t mean to tell me someone who wasn’t elected, isn’t even a natural born citizen, doing things that even the president shouldn’t have direct authority to do might not be very cool and very legal?!?!

Well, then, send in the U.S. Marshals and fucking arrest fElon. Otherwise, it’s just so much bullshit and circle jerking.

Well. Here’s what Trump and Musk have in common. They’re both incapable of taking advice from people more experienced in a subject than themselves.

So I’m going to bet he’ll ignore any and all warnings.

If the emperor god king infallible and almighty immune president tells someone to do something, does that count as an official act and does that mean they are also immune?

The supreme court will let us know, I’m sure.

How about they publicly warn about it as well as follow up with some criminal charges. We have systems in place to stop all of this but it requires the officials to grow a spine and actually use them.

I’m honestly surprised that the Congress isn’t flipping their shit over this. I know the Republicans are trump lap dogs, but this directly undermines their authority and sets a new norm on executive power. I expected more self preservation from those cowards.
