That also does mean that photobucket is training their fucking AI on my old account, which is full of Memes and Gifs I totally don’t have the copyright to. Some of them might even be from Disney movies.
They’ve been emailing me like twice a day for almost two years to “protect my pictures”. I thought they were doing it to pump their active user numbers, but this makes a lot more sense.
Same here - they finally said in a recent email how many of those pictures were at risk… 2. Just two pictures. Fuck off Photobucket.
I deleted my archive when they started sending those emails. I could see nothing good was going to result from ignoring them or giving them permission to keep it.
Just tried to go to my account - here’s the pop up. Promptly said fuck off and deleted my account.
