    Not really, all it requires is theory of mind, social norms, and the ability to anticipate outcomes. Plenty of animals exhibit comedic behavior patterns, but they all know we’re funnier.

      Really? As in non-primates that respond positively to humorous displays? Mostly I just see people anthropomorphising animals doing accidentally funny things, sometimes including legit pain or fear responses.

              No offense, but you’re a random internet person to me. I wasn’t about to go on a wild goose chase through cancerous clickbait sites just on your say-so.

              Give a more specific source, or I don’t believe you. Not trying to be harsh here, but that’s the situation.
