Hi, i didn’t find anything using the search, so i just wanted to know if any issues are known causing those error messages, which need a few reloads to resolve; additionally, voting on an post often takes 2, sometimes 5 or more tries.
i already tried:
- logged in/out
- with my VPN(Mullvad, on by default) and without
- Firefox / Vivaldi / Edge
- wired / wireless
and before i get into the weeds with the abyssmal support of my ISP i wanted to know if any of you have encountered the same issues.
I haven’t seen any rate limit errors like that myself. Does your browser consoles network tab show any errors?

ah you’re using mlmym. That frontend has been flakey lately and I don’t know why. I was planning to try and update it in case there’s a new version. Try using a different frontend for now

Edit: just wanted to inform that switching to Alexandrite fixed the issues, editing the title to refer to mlmym to make it easier to find using search

Wait I’ve had the same issue on eternity+jerboa+Firefox. Could I ask what mlmym is and what alternate you are using now?
dbzer0 is also the only instance with this issue
mlmym is the frontend used ("old.lemmy.dbzer0.com). there are more:
- p.lemmy.dbzer0.com (“proton”)
- v.lemmy.dbzer0.com (“voyager”)
- a.lemmy.dbzer0.com (“alexandrite”)

Im currently using proton and have no issues 😃
The only one of those that I see sometimes is “there doesn’t seem to be anything here”, I think that mostly happens because a post that was already on my front page got removed in the meantime, so it can’t be found anymore.
