Even if it takes a while to get there, and even if the head guy might get off, all the folks who actually did the dirty work are still being prosecuted, and do not have the unlimited legal/campaign funds that he has to gum up the works. It will make it much harder to find people willing to throw their life into chaos to support a man who will ignore them the first chance he gets.
