A look at the mod log is pretty depressing. Clearly the mods on Lemmy are as bad or worse than on the old site. 95% of what is removed shouldn’t have been, it’s just constant power tripping or trying to set the narrative.

Let’s not turn into Beehaw with the de-federating from everything until there is no content left.

Does peertube ban people for having sponsors? If you could get enough views to get a sponsor you could make money that way.

I can’t seem to create an account on lemmy.world directly (though I appear to be able to access via lemmy.ca). When I enter all my details on the sign up and click the button - it just spins for ever. I have tried a few times a day over the last 3 days. Any idea what could be the problem? I was able to sign up on beehaw and lemmy.ca with no issues. Is it a known issue - or are sign ups on hold?
