It’s not a big deal - I was just wondering. I will keep watching your repo. Thanks.

Thanks! Would you happen to know how to install with pipx? I don’t fully understand Python venv stuff, but I followed instructions on how to install yt-dlp using pipx. I’m not clear on whether I could do that with your app.
I didn’t see anything like this image in the pytube-fix repo. Do you have a repo of the web interface somewhere? That looks really handy.
I’ve never heard of AtlasOS until this comment. I read the documentation and it’s interesting that they need you to install it using a fresh Windows ISO. I wonder what they are doing that can’t be accomplished on an existing Windows installation with a bunch of Powershell scripts?
Beeper has been working in this space for awhile - there’s no way they would publish an app with a copyright violation. I assume they have a workaround for that aspect.
It looks like Beeper has purchased the software from the person who developed this, but his GitHub repo for it is still up.
He has also created a way to permanently side load apps on iPhone without jailbreaking. I imagine Apple will be working on both of these “problems”.
iMessage reverse engineering hack that was purchased by Beeper: https://github.com/JJTech0130/pypush
iPhone side loading: https://github.com/SideStore
Interesting. I just checked and found the information. It sounds like they want to rebuild the whole app and just add one service at a time. They are starting with just iMessage.
https://www.beeper.com/faq#what-is-beeper
Edit: I wonder how long this will last. They aren’t using a Mac to log you into your iCloud account with this. They have found a workaround.
“This is now possible because the iMessage protocol and encryption have been reverse engineered by jjtech, a security researcher.”
Edit 2: I’m really curious about this. The researcher has some Python that can run anywhere and let you send iMessages. It seems like something the Apple would shutdown, but, on the other hand, I wouldn’t expect Beeper to introduce an app that might get disabled.
I’m confused about this article because I have Beeper, but they make this statement:
“Beeper Mini is a new app from the folks behind Beeper, a unified chatting and inbox app that brings together the best chat apps under one roof.”
I haven’t heard about a mini version.
Same with H264. I still have trouble getting H265 videos to play on all devices, so it’s easier to stay with 264.
I would think that an IP address tells you the domain name by doing a simple DNS lookup.
If I understand correctly, someone other than your ISP could see the name of the website, since it isn’t encrypted. I think it would bounce through several servers that could possibly read the data.
I wonder why SmartTube doesn’t work on phones and tablets? I’ve looked into ReVanced but I can’t figure out the whole process. SmartTube is just an apk.
I’ve been using it for many years, but only from my home. Is there any danger of getting flagged if I login to the RD website from my phone (to add something), but someone at my home is streaming from my home IP?
Quick Change. It’s full of big stars (Bill Murray, Randy Quaid, Geena Davis, Jason Roberts) but I never hear people talk about it. I find it pretty funny.
My point is that the media is drawing extra attention to his arrest - as a direct result of what happened. As opposed to any other guy that might get arrested for groping and nothing is mentioned about it.
I don’t follow Spanish media, but it seemed like this article/video made a point of showing the guy in handcuffs. That appears like someone is trying to make point.
Edit: Actually, I don’t see the video in this article, but there was a video that showed the groping event and then ended with the guy in handcuffs, being escorted by Spanish police.
The video was linked in a different post: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/9/14/spanish-police-arrest-man-for-groping-reporter-isa-balado-while-live-on-air?traffic_source=rss
Between this and the soccer event, I feel like the Spanish authorities will want to make things especially difficult for this guy. If for no other reason than to appear to the world that they are not a sexist country.
I expect this post in a couple days: “How do I remove a paper towel that is frozen to my bottle of wine?”
I don’t know who this spokesperson is, but it’s strange that he didn’t know about the pharmacy thing. It was well-publicized before the trial, along with a video. This seems more relevant than these text messages.
