So yeah, they are absolutely to spew their hateful speech without legal repercussions, but we absolutely do not have to let them do so here.
Similar for me, but with Relay. I absolutely refuse to use the shitshow that is the official app. And honestly, I’ve been actively choosing to use Reddit less and less.

Yeah, I’d imagine so. I’m only briefly checking reddit now, and that’s only through Relay. The second that becomes unavailable, I am officially done.
While Relay was my preferred app, Sync was definitely another beautiful option. And likely the app I’ll hop to as soon as it becomes available.
It’s a console exclusive, but I believe it’s actually on PC gamepass. So for those on PC, they can give it a try. But I’m on Xbox.
That’s where I am at as well. I really loved a few gaming subreddits, and I feel like that presence is not really here in Lemmy yet. And with beehaw defederating from the instance I use, the gaming@beehaw community is basically pointless.
Absolutely no memes please. Right now, r/games is easily the subreddit that I miss the most, and it’s because it was entirely news and discussion focused. I sincerely hope I can turn to this community for most of my gaming news, and don’t want to see an influx of memes.
