You say that like you can listen to the lyrics instead…
Not FOSS, but I use Obsidian, and is FOSS, SyncThing for syncing.
There are FOSS Markdown editors of course, I just prefer Obsidian.

Looks like there may be a few more, haven’t used any of them though.
I’m totally with Brandon on this one, except cancelling Fall, that’s right out!
Three hail Mary’s or whatever, and pick up some trash around your neighborhood. Then your sins will be forgiven.
Outside of what is likely a privacy nightmare at this point within Nova, they haven’t added a feature in like 8 years, just seems silly for me to keep using it, wish I liked another launcher more >_>
Hardware backed attestation isn’t about security or privacy, if you can’t pass SafetyNet on your Android device you can’t install certain apps, but even with stock software and passing SafetyNet you can still install malware direct from the App Store, it’s about vendor lock in, always has been.
Edit: Clarified my point.
I’ve been using Deezer for almost 3 months, and I used Tidal for about the same amount of time in the not too distant past.
I gave up on Tidal because they didn’t have the music I am looking for, and that’s okay, plus, their app was kinda bad.
I’m about to cancel my Deezer sub, the app is fantastic, I’ve loved being with Deezer, but there content is constantly running into dead ends, their AI player is really neat, but needs much love to become awesome.
Anyways, I hate Spotify, especially their UI, but we have a family plan.
I’m always on the lookout for music apps/subscriptions that are awesome, but like someone already commented, I am starting to feel like PlexAmp may be my future.
According to Nintendo, this is already the case with games you play.
I read somewhere that capsaicin is a handy squirrel deterrent, as birds cannot taste it or something.
Here’s an article about it https://secretaardvark.com/blog/the-hot-sauce-hack-squirrels-dont-want-you-to-know/
I don’t get it, if 3PA is only 1% of the traffic, why even bother murdering them?
Man, I read your word vomit like 4 times, I believe you are right about all of it.
I read all of the apps threads about why they’re quitting on the 30th, for Apolo which has already charged its users he would have to foot the costs the whole time until the next subscription re-up for many/most of his users, and we’re supposed to believe the reddit guys?
For others, even the ones that want to make it work with added subscriptions, the lack of full reddit access via the API makes one wonder, what’s the point of even trying?
Reddit has been an awful site for nearly 20 years, the only thing that made it usable was third party apps.
I’m not sure I’m going to miss it, I hated it before 3PA, and I’m willing to hate it again now.
The only thing I’m going to miss is world news updates and stuff that is here, the volume is basically muted in comparison.
I see his stuff all the time: https://universeodon.com/@georgetakei
